On this map the location of the team was shown using a radar-like positioning system and the Crystal Dome also had this type of locator. The current location of the team was shown on the map in the form of a red dot which would appear in the zone they were in or between zones as the moved from one to the other, however, the Crystal Dome had no dot and just zoomed in after a few seconds when the team were in there.įrom series 4-6 the map was on a multicoloured background and the zones were formed from filled coloured areas, the Ocean Zone was blue, the Aztec Zone was yellow, the Futuristic Zone was grey, the Medieval Zone was green and the Crystal Dome was white with blue water.

The Crystal Maze Map was a computerised diagram of The Crystal Maze, it was displayed on the TV screen as the contestants moved from zone to zone.
